André Ethier

I should have mentioned it, but André Ethier's artwork appears on the cover of the new Quest For Fire record. Ethier's a prolific painter who paints scenes, characters and portraits in an amazingly loose, brilliant style. Ethier's approach is very classical, much like Francisco de Goya and Giuseppe Arcimboldo, but his paintings have this Edvard Munch quality- in that there's this prevailing sense of agony and dred.
