The Underdog Club Gallery- MTL’s first-ever animal adoption gallery!

From September 11-27, 2009, the Underdog Club, an organization spearheaded to help find homes for hard-to-place homeless dogs, is hosting the Underdog Club Gallery (4922 Sherbrooke Street West). The initiative pairs animal adoption (a daily selection of four new dogs will be available for adoption) with fine art portraits of the Underdog Club’s most memorable dogs, photographed by local photographer Jamie Leblanc and available for purchase (all funds will be donated to the participating rescue organizations). It’s a pretty innovative idea for an outstanding cause that further demonstrates Montreal’s inherent creativity.

A vernissage will be held on September 11 from 6-9PM. The Underdog Club Gallery will be open Tuesdays through Sundays from 11:00AM to 7:00PM. For more information click the flier above. Hope to see you there, Ben Pobjoy
