Margaret Kilgallen
The art world suffered a terrible lost when Margaret Kilgallen passed away in 2001 at the young age of 33. Her artwork is, and was, amazing. I wanted to post about Kilgallen to keep her memory alive and promote her outstanding work. Check out the video below to see Kilgallen's work and hear her speak about her influences.

hey i just heard about margaret kilgallen when i saw the movie beautiful losers. ever since i saw it i've been googling all of her work. the other artists in the movie are great, too, but she is my favorite. it's also really great to hear what the other artists/her friends had to say about her, her work, and how much they admired her. i saw a special screening but you should try to find out when it comes out near you, it was fantastic.
